How to create your Michigan Medicaid (MI Bridges) account

1. Go to the MI Bridges website MI Bridges

2. Click “Register” (or “Create an Account”).

3. Enter your basic info:

   • Name

   • Date of birth

   • Email address

4. Create a username and password.

5. Log in to your new account.

🔗 Link your existing Medicaid application

Once you’re logged in:

• Click “Link Case” or “Connect to an Existing Case.”

• Enter:

  • Case number OR

  • Social Security Number + Date of Birth

👉 If everything matches, your submitted Medicaid application will show up.

 

What you can do in MI Bridges

• Check your Medicaid application status

• Upload documents (ID, income, etc.)

• View letters and notices

• Report changes

• Renew your benefits

⚠️ If your case doesn’t appear - This is common - Try:

• Waiting 1–2 days after applying

• Double-checking your SSN/DOB

• Using your case number if you have it
