 How to create your Kentucky Medicaid (Kynect) account

1. Go to the kynect Benefits portal (official Kentucky site). Kynect

2. Click “Sign In / Create Account.”

3. Choose “Create Account.”

4. Set up a Kentucky Online Gateway (KOG) login Kentucky Online Gateway (KOG)                                                                                         ​​(this is your main username/password).

5. Enter your personal info:

   • Name

   • Date of birth

   • SSN (if you have one)

6. Finish account setup and log in.

👉 Once logged in, your existing Medicaid application should appear automatically if your info matches.

Kentucky confirms that the portal is used to apply, manage, and check benefits like Medicaid, SNAP, and more.

 

 What the Kynect account lets you do.

• Upload documents

• View letters/decisions

• Renew coverage

• Report changes

 

You can apply or manage benefits online through Kynect at any time.

 

⚠️ If your application doesn’t show up - This is common — try:

• Make sure you used the same SSN, DOB, and name

• Wait 24–48 hours (system delay)
